Kpop diets: Bomi
Bomi Stats
Height: 163 cm / 5' 4"
Weight: 47 kg / 104 lbs
Apink's Bomi went on an intense one-week juice diet to put herself on the fast track to a healthier body for summer. Note thatch is definitely not recommending this diet to last more than ONE WEEK, and plans on following a much healthier, much more balanced diet during the summer. In order to get a healthy body, she recommends this diet as a quick one week cleanse, and then recommends changing your eating habits afterwards to become more balanced. For example, eating lean meats (grilled chicken breast, white fish, lean ground beef, shrimp), lots of vegetables (except for starchy vegetables such as corn and potatoes), and complex carbs (yams/sweet potatoes, brown rice, whole-grain bread). As you can see in the comparison pictures above, the diet that she followed made her lose a lot of fat, especially in her face. Her nose is thinner, her jawline is more defined, and her eyes and lips look fuller.
A trick of many Kpop idols is to alternate these strict one-week diets with a couple weeks of balanced eating. So you can follow this diet by alternating every week, or every couple of weeks, with balanced eating.
Here is the one-week diet that she followed. See the products below for my recommended list of what you should use to follow Bomi's diet.
1) 500 mL of anti-aging juice
Açai berry are known for their anti-aging properties. The açai berry is chock-full of anti-oxidants, which protect again harmful free radicals, which cause stress and aging on the cells in the body. Açai is also very high in faber, which keeps you feeling full longer. Bonus: Açai tastes like blueberries, but contain more antioxidants!
2) 500 mL of diet pomegranate juice (
Pomegranates have a ton of antioxidants as well, and are also a great source of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is often touted as an immune booster, as well as a skin-care secret. Pomegranate juice contains a high amount of the daily recommended value of Vitamin C, so that you can make sure that you are getting in all your daily vitamins while on this juice cleanse.
3) 2L of water a day
4) vitamins
Bomi mentioned that her skin actually became even clearer after including vitamins and minerals on this diet. They are definitely essential! Bomi includes omega-3 fatty acids, probiotics, and cacao nibs as part of her vitamins and supplements, which would otherwise be missing in this diet.
5) 1/2 a cup of protein powder
Last but not least, Bomi uses protein powder to keep her muscles strong and her energy up during this diet. Protein helps maintain muscle mass while burning fat, which helps create a nice toned and lean look. Try to buy protein powder that is low in sugar and carbs for the best results, such as the one linked below. To create a protein shake, mix the recommended amount with water, or low-fat milk.
Let me know what other diets you’d like to see, or if you’d like me to try one out.
